CA Intermediate is the second level of the Chartered Accountancy course conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). After clearing CA Foundation (or through the Direct Entry route), students become eligible for CA Intermediate. It is considered one of the most important stages in the CA journey because it covers core accounting, taxation, auditing, costing, and finance subjects. ๐ Eligibility Route 1: Through CA Foundation Pass CA Foundation examination. Complete the required registration formalities with ICAI. Route 2: Direct Entry Eligible candidates include: Commerce graduates/postgraduates with prescribed marks. Non-commerce graduates with prescribed marks. Candidates who have passed certain professional examinations such as CMA Intermediate or CS Executive. ๐ CA Intermediate Subjects Under the current ICAI scheme, CA Intermediate consists of 6 papers divided into two groups.
